Members of JANE'S ADDICTION to form new band

The Panic Channel, the band featuring former Jane's Addition members Dave Navarro, Chris Chaney and Stephen Perkins and fronted by Steve Isaacs of Skycycle are well on the way to finishing their debut album.
The band played their first official show at the Key Club in Los Angeles this week and will spend the remainder of the year completing the album.
According to their website, they are recording the album with Brian Virtue who they also worked with in Jane's Addiction.
Jane's Addiction announced their split in June 2004. Navarro, Chaney and Perkins immediately announced that they had formed a new band with Steve Isaacs.
At the time Isaacs said "No one in the universe could replace Perry Farrell and for anyone to try would be ridiculous. I am not replacing Perry. Even writing that like it were possible is crazy to me. Dave, Stephen, and Chris and I are just taking some time to do what is the most fun thing in the world to do - make music and write songs".
In June it was already reported that the then unnamed band had already recorded three tracks with Danny Saber.
"Dave, Stephen, and Chris are unbelievable musicians, and musicians want to play" Isaacs said. "It's a warm wonderful summer in Los Angeles and we found that we like writing songs, so that's what we're going to do: be creative together".
